I just want to blog on the importance of feeding a balanced diet to our dogs. I am not a dietician neither do I pretend to be one. However, I have had to write essays on it as part of my APDT course (Association of Pet Dog Trainers-UK) and therefore had to research the subject in enough depth to be aware of the impact it can have, not only in health, but also on behaviour. This first part of this blog will focus on the different ingredients that are contained in a balanced diet. The second part will look into the different types of diet and their pros and cons, as well as the impact it can have on behaviour.
This blog is part 2 on the importance of a balanced diet for your dog from a health and behaviour perspective. It focused on the different ingredients that are contained in a balanced diet.
I will be looking into more detail and going through facts, pros and cons of each type of food (wet, semi moist, dry, raw), as well as the negative impact that a non balanced diet can have on behaviour.
