We understand not everyone has the time to commit to a course of dog training, or maybe your pooch doesn't suit a class environement, which is why we offer one-2-one sessions in the comfort of your own home across Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire. You'll get the best training there is for you and your dog, providing reward based dog training tips, advice and practical experience using our clicker training methods.

One to One Dog Training Courses Northamptonshire

These friendly and relaxed training sessions take place in the comfort of your own home with our professionally qualified award winning dog trainer, Liliana.

If you have a busy life and haven’t got time to commit to certain days and times, this might be what you need.

one two one dog training in Northamptonshire

These sessions are also advisable for nervous dogs that couldn't cope with the stress of being in a class. With this type of training you get the advantage of having a personalised training session and can therefore focus on what you would like to achieve. You may want to discuss issues such as jumping up, toilet training, chewing, crate training, food guarding prevention or simply learning the basics (e.g. sit, down, recall, etc...)

Pre-vaccination One to Ones:

If your puppy is still too young to attend classes and you want to give him/her a good start, one to ones are perfect. Not only for learning the basics but also to discuss and most importantly prevent potential issues that may happen during puppyhood and the terrible teens.

1 hour for just £40

Each one-2-one includes free email and phone support for three months after the session has taken place.

In order to book a one-2-one or pre-vaccination one-2-one, please use the contact us form on this site, or alternatively give Watch my Chops a call on 01536 746333.

A £20 deposit will be required within 24 hours of  booking, in order to secure your one-2-one. This deposit will be taken off the price of your one-2-one/s with Watch my Chops Dog Training

How to Manage a Puppy

How to manage a Zuchon puppy

I was contacted by Marianne and Paul in order to have a one 2 one session before starting one of our puppy courses. Dylan is a lovely Zuchon and their first dog, so they wanted to make sure that Dylan had the best start in life by knowing how to handle day to day puppy issues and do it in a reward based manner.

Resolving Lead Pulling and Jumping

How to resolve lead pulling and jumping

Donna contacted us for an initial one 2 one session for Buddy, a beautiful Samoyed aged 12-15 months old, that the family had recently adopted. Buddy was brought in from Ireland with no history. He had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, such as pulling on the lead, and jumping up. Donna also wanted to also discuss the possibility of enrolling Buddy in TD Rally classes in order for him to burn some energy doing something fun.

Adopting a Puppy Mastiff X

Adopting a puppy Mastiff cross

Heidi contacted us after adopting puppy Pluto (Mastiff X) from Leicester Animal Aid in Huncote, Leicestershire. The staff at the centre had been working with him teaching him some basics behaviours, using clicker training. Despite this, the kennel manager at the centre wanted to make sure that the adoption would be a smooth transition for Pluto, so asked me, in agreement with Heidi, to have a one 2 one session to make sure that progress was being made and to answer any questions Heidi might have.

Teaching Your Dog Recall

Teaching a dog recall

Rebecca contacted us, wanting a one 2 one session, as she was having problems with lovely Max's recall. Max is a four year old Beagle, and he is getting restricted to lead walking, as his mum doesn't trust that he will come back when called, so the whole family can enjoy him off lead, and Max gets to run around and have fun!
