  • Fees: Payment of the course fee will secure a place on the course. Places cannot be held without a full payment
  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel your course, this needs to be done 14 days prior the start date of the course and needs to be done via email. The full refund will be made via the same method that was used during the booking process. After this time, fees are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations: Should WmC have to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, the price of that lesson will be fully refunded. We will email or phone to advise of the cancellation, as well as posting it on FaceBook, Twitter and on Watchmychops.com
  • Cancellations: In order for a course to take place, there must be a minimum of two dogs booked in. Should only one dog be booked, Watch my Chops will give a full refund and offer the client to book on an alternative course.
  • One-2-Ones: A £20 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the time of booking, in order to secure your slot. The deposit will be taken off your one-2-one(s) with Watch my Chops Dog Training. Should the client(s) cancel the one-2-one booking within 48 hours prior to the session taking place, the deposit will be lost. Should the client(s) want to reschedule, having given 48 hours notice or more, the deposit will be transferred to an alternative date, within a 30 days peroid of the original appointment. Should the client(s) wish to reschedule, for a second time, the deposit wil be lost. 
  • Your Dog/s: You are responsible for the conduct of your own dog at all times. Make sure you clear up after your dog/s in and outside the premises. Please do not allow your dog to approach another dog without asking for the handler’s permission: some dogs can feel uncomfortable around other dogs or people and it is crucial to give these dogs the space they need.
  • Your Dog/s: Dogs must be kept on the leads at all times unless otherwise advised by the trainer.
  • No dogs should be kept in cars if not attending classes, as this can be distressing and very dangerous, especially in hot weather.
  • Harsh Handling: WmC adhere to the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) code of practice, therefore harsh handling (shouting, abusing the dog verbally, physically or otherwise, alpha roles) is not permitted at any time and by anybody. A polite reminder will be given but should it continue, WmC reserve the right to ask the owner to leave. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
  • Harsh Equipment: Harsh equipment includes electric or spray collars, slip leads, half or full check chains, prong collars, 'ilusion' collars, pet correctors, rattle cans, water sprays or any other aversive equipment. Head collars and harnesses may be used providing that they are introduced and fitted properly. WmC adhere to the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) code of practice, therefore harsh equipment is not permitted at any time. A polite reminder will be given to stop using it but should it reoccur at any time, WmC reserve the right to ask the owner to leave. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
  • Health and Safety: All attendees agree to abide by the Health & Safety brief given by your trainer during the first class.
  • Vaccinations: your dog(s) vaccination card must be brought to the first lesson. It can also be scanned and emailed at least 24 hours prior to the start of the course. Failure to do so will result in dog and owner not able to attend, as our policy is to protect the health of puppies and dogs attending classes. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
  • Car Park: WmC is not responsible for any damage/loss of cars and/or its contents parked on the training premises.
  • Ill or Injured Dogs: Ill or injured dogs should not be brought to class. Owners can still attend without the dog so they learn and catch up at home. Please do not bring your dog if he/she has been in contact with another dog infected with a contagious disease e.g. kennel cough. Bitches in season are not allowed to attend classes. If your bitch comes into season during the course that you are booked on, we will reserve a place for you on the next course available. Make sure that you do let us know as soon as possible.
  • Under 16s: Each child under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult in class. In order for the dogs to have a positive experience in class and also be able to learn, parents must make sure that their children sit quietly and calmly during the class.
  • Reactive Dogs: If your dog is reactive to other dogs and/or people, it must be stated on the booking form and discussed with the trainer prior to the start of the course. Should this information not be disclosed at the time of completing the booking form, Watch my Chops Dog Training reserves the right to no longer allow the dog/owner to continue the course and no refund will be issued
  • Dogs with Aggressive Tendencies: Whether it is towards people or towards other dogs, dogs with aggressive tendencies are not are not allowed in classes in order to protect the safety of owners and their dogs
